I turn and instead of going towards the office of the manager of this hotel I walk towards the receptionist. My heart is beating loudly.
I will just have a look at them. Just like a stranger I will look at them and nothing more.
With an absent mind I stopped before the receptionist. Her eyes swivel towards mine and she gets alert upon recognising me.
I gulped the lump and parted my lips to ask about my lo…. I mean her. But except air nothing came out. Thankfully Rose asked her in my stead. “Um, there is a guest living in your hotel. Her name is Roxanne Rodriguez."
