Chapter 25

Roxanne 

I stumble as she harshly pulls me. Even though she has her heels on, she can still walk this fast. 

"Mrs. Lander, leave my hand. Where are you taking me?" I shout. I tried to pull my hand out of her hold, but it only ended up giving me more pain. She pulls me downstairs. 

While ascending the stairs, I skipped the last step, making me fall straight on my knees, as Mrs Lander leaves my hand in the middle. 

I whimper in pain. I rise and look at my elbows. They were bruised but it's not that bad.
