Chapter 34

Roxanne 

“You don't want to be alone, right?" I nod my head while hugging him tightly. My head, snuggling his chest. The last days alone were terrifying. The eerie silence of the mansion suffocated me. I never ever want to feel that again.  

He cups my face and makes me look up. His grey eyes clash with my brown ones. His thumb stroking my jaw as he said.

“Then do what I asked you to. Love me like your life depends on it. Care for me. The same care that you show your sis. Be my best friend just like you are for that shit. Desire me just like how you desire for your dreams. Become mine, Roxanne."  

I let his words sink in me. And the very next minute, my hands loosened from around him. I retrieve from him, taking a step back wanting to create some distance between us as realisation dawns on me. His hands fall back to his side.
